The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 2024 launches in Europe. Now that the slim ultrabook is already available in China, the manufacturer has also confirmed a global launch. However, with slightly different specifications.

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 2024 is a 1.79 kg ultrabook that measures 354 mm x 242 mm x 19.9 mm. It has a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3,072 x 1,920 pixels and a frame rate of 165 Hz, making it suitable for gaming. At its peak, the display is 500 nits bright and fully covers the DCI-P3 color space.
The global version uses the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor, which has 14 cores and clock speeds of up to 4.5 GHz. According to the manufacturer, the TDP in performance mode is 65 watts.
The battery is comparatively large with a capacity of 75 watt hours and should provide a runtime of up to 12 hours for office tasks. The SSD offers a capacity of 1 terbayte, while a whopping 24 GB of LDDR5X-6400 RAM is installed.
Six speakers and modern connections
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 2024 has a total of six speakers, which enable spatial audio. In terms of connections, there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, another USB-C port, two USB-A ports and HDMI 2.1 to choose from. However, the notebook only communicates wirelessly via Wi-Fi 6.
Honor has equipped the notebook with a full-size keyboard with 1.5 mm key travel and a 13 cm wide touchpad with 5-point multi-touch. The webcam has a resolution of 1080p and there is also a fingerprint scanner in the power button.
Price and availability
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 2024 will be launched in Europe at a price of 1,299.99 euros. It will be available in white and purple, with a 200 euro discount at launch and the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro included free of charge. The official website does not yet provide any specific details on the launch date.
