MSI Modern series: Elegant All-in-One PCs with modern features

The MSI Modern series of all-in-one PCs is growing. With the Modern AM 242 1M, Modern AM242P 1M and Modern AM272P 12M, there are three new devices that come with the latest Intel Core processors from the Raptor Lake U-Refresh, modern features and some are even available with a touchscreen.

MSI Modern series: Three innovations for the 2024 product year

Anyone looking for a high-quality and space-saving all-in-one PC will find what they are looking for in the MSI Modern model series. The manufacturer presented three new computers today. They impress with their elegant design and modern features.

Intel Core processors from the Intel Raptor Lake U-Refresh, which was only introduced in January 2024, are used. You can choose between the Intel Core 3 100U, Intel Core 5 120U and Intel Core 7 150U. MSI provides it with two slots for up to 64 gigabytes of DDR5-5200 RAM, with graphics processing being handled exclusively by the iGPU.

The slim AiO PCs, which weigh a maximum of 7.5 kg, also offer space for an M.2 SSD and a 2.5-inch SATA hard disk. Two 2.5-watt speakers are also on board, as well as fast Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 and a 1080p webcam.

In terms of connections, the models are also very well equipped. There are no differences here:

MSI Modern AM242 and AM272: Differences in the displays

However, there are differences in the displays of the new AiO PCs. Almost all models come with a 23.8-inch IPS panel with LED backlighting and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The MSI Modern AM242 1M can be tilted between -5° and 15°.

The Modern AM272 series has been given a new edition: The new MSI Modern AM272P 12M, on the other hand, can be tilted between -4° and 20° and its height can be adjusted by 130 mm. It also features a 27-inch IPS display, which also has a Full HD resolution.

However, the Modern AM242P and AM242TP are undoubtedly the most interesting, as only the latter model has a 10-point touchscreen and can be operated by touch.

New in the 2024 model series is the MSI AI Engine, which is designed to improve performance and efficiency based on AI functions. The MSI Cloud Center, on the other hand, enables fast and secure wireless backups and downloads between PC, Android and iOS.
