Nacon MG-X Pro: Smartphone controller available in Xbox design

With a little delay, manufacturer Nacon launches its new mobile gaming controller Nacon MG-X Pro. The professional version of the MG-X, which was introduced last year, stands out among other things with two grip earpieces. It’s part of the “Designed For Xbox” series, which is specifically designed for mobile gaming and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Nacon MG-X Pro released

Originally, the market launch of the Nacon MG-X Pro was supposed to take place by the end of 2021, but then had to be postponed once again at short notice. As the manufacturer now announces, the smartphone controller with Xbox compatibility is now available in stores.

Like the MG-X, this model is also part of the “Designed For Xbox” series, which was developed especially for mobile gaming and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. With ergonomics comparable to traditional controllers, the MG-X Pro provides a comfortable gaming experience on Android smartphones.

In doing so, the MG-X Pro enables the use of a classic console-level Xbox controller for any Android smartphone. The smartphone mount relies on an adjustable width and features a Bluetooth wireless connection (version 4.2) to the mobile device.

Xbox Feeling for Mobile Games

Thanks to its ergonomic grip horns, it directly conveys the feeling of a traditional controller even when playing on a smartphone. From asymmetrical joysticks to bumpers, triggers and action buttons to the familiar Xbox buttons, the Nacon MG-X Pro has it all for the best possible gaming experience on the go or at home.

The textured surface provides grip and added comfort. The built-in battery with USB-C input (80 cm long charging cable included) is said to last for around 20 hours. An LED indicator on the controller also provides information about the battery status.

Thanks to its customizable width, the MG-X Pro is also compatible with a wide range of Android smartphones while ensuring maximum stability. Devices up to a display size of 6.7 inches, or a maximum size of 152.4 mm, are supported. Android 6 is considered the minimum requirement in terms of the operating system.

Price and Availability

The Nacon MG-X Pro is available immediately at a recommended retail price of 99.90 euros. The smartphone controller is already listed on Amazon, but the price there is still 118.99 euros.
