Rumor: Apple M4 Pro to come to the MacBook this year

Brand new MacBooks with AI features are expected to be released at the end of the year. This will apparently be made possible by the introduction of the Apple M4 chip and the latest version of macOS. According to Gurman, the chip technology is currently being developed at full speed in order to be able to meet the presumed roadmap. A step towards more AI seems to be inevitable. Apple is currently not celebrating any real sales successes with its Macs.

Multiplication of RAM in Apple hardware?

According to the industry insider, we are likely to find the most powerful version of the M4 in the Mac Pro. This could possibly be called the M4 Ultra. The two somewhat weaker CPUs, the M4 Pro and M4 Max, are then likely to be used in the Mac Studio. The performance of the processors is likely to be immense in view of the other hardware improvements.

It is therefore presumed that Apple also wants to make a huge leap in performance in terms of RAM. If, for example, a Mac Pro with an M2 Ultra CPU currently “only” has a maximum of 192 GB RAM, the upcoming models could have up to 500 GB. Apple would then definitely have a lot of computing power up its sleeve to implement some AI features.
