SecretLab Magnus Pro: sit-stand desk with integrated power supply

With the SecretLab Magnus Pro, the manufacturer has introduced a new height-adjustable desk. It offers a magnetic organization function and the world’s first fully integrated power supply column. Recently, Sharkoon had unveiled two affordable new gaming desks with the SKILLER SGD10 & SGD20.

SecretLab Magnus Pro in detail

With the SecretLab Magnus Pro, the manufacturer has introduced a really exciting sit-stand desk. The desk is electrically height-adjustable at a free height of 650 mm and 1,250 mm. In doing so, it has three user-definable storable heights. The fully integrated control panel is flush with the edge of the desk for maximum freedom of movement and productivity.

It has a maximum load capacity of 120 kg, while the control panel also features LED backlighting. To protect users from accidental injury, this safety feature automatically prevents the desk from moving if it comes into contact with an obstacle.

Thanks to the world’s first fully integrated power supply column, cable clutter should also be a thing of the past. A single power cable is connected to the left rear of the stand, which feeds the power through the desk leg. A multiple socket, for example, can then be connected at the top and hidden in the cable management strip.

“Unlike other sit-stand desks on the market, we’ve developed the most elegant way to power the desk and your devices at the same time, without extra cables hanging loosely off the desk or moving with every height change,” promises the manufacturer.

The power supply base features a thermal circuit breaker that is fail-safe, while the cable is 12AWG insulated in a specially designed plastic jacket to protect against exposure. The Magnus Pro is also divided into different sections that feature multiple grounding points.

Cable routing and options

The SecretLab Magnus Pro also features a cable management compartment that runs the full length of the desk. Cables can be routed up through the easily accessible rear flip cover, which also has optional RGB lighting.

With the Secretlab MAGRGB Diffusing LED Strip, you can add customizable RGB lighting that simply magnetically attaches to the underside of the desk. It’s powered by Nanloeaf and offers various custom scenes, color movement, and exclusive lighting presets from Team Liquid, Cloud9, and more via the app.

It also integrates with the smart home and syncs with other RGB accessories in the Nanoleaf ecosystem. Hands-free control via Google Home or Apple Homekit is also possible.

The sit-stand desk is offered in a normal size, in which it is 1,500 mm long and 700 mm deep, or as an XL model measuring 1,770 mm x 800 mm. Also offered is a full range of accessories, including magnetic cable anchors, a single or dual monitor arm, a premium PC mount and more.

The Secretlab MAGPAD desk pad made of imitation leather serves as a support surface, finding a secure hold on the desk magnetically. Various signature and special edition desgins are offered.

Prices and availability

The SecretLab Magnus Pro can now be configured and customized directly from the manufacturer. It starts at a price of 898.00 euros for the normal model including the black Signature Stealth desk pad. The Magnus Pro XL is priced at 1,048.00 Euros including the pad. It is scheduled to ship at the end of November 2022. Additional desk pad designs and add-ons are also available in the configurator.
