Xiaomi Fengmi V10: Compact 4K beamer with 240 Hz available

Under its sub-brand Fengmi, Xiaomi has introduced an exciting new 4K projector that is not only compact or looks classy, but also has a lot going for it technically. For example, the Xiaomi Fengmi V10 offers a brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumens and a frame rate of 240 Hz.

Xiaomi Fengmi V10: 4K projector in detail

The Xiaomi Fengmi V10 Beamer (full name: FENGMI V10 4K QHD Projector) turns out to be extremely compact with dimensions of 200 mm x 210 mm and a weight of only 3.8 kg. At the same time, the projector relies on a classy design with a rounded shape, gray grid and golden details (sunset gold).

But the V10 doesn’t just look chic, it also has a lot going for it technically. Specifically, it relies on DLP display technology and uses LEDs as a light source to achieve a 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.

With that, it projects a 55-inch to 180-inch image onto walls and other surfaces, and offers sensor-less autofocus and omnidirectional keystone correction for image alignment. The projection ratio of 1.27:1 and the brightness of up to 2,500 ANSI lumens are also remarkable.

Still, another 100 ANSI lumens more than the recently unveiled Lenovo Yoga 7000 or the Nebula Cosmos Laser Full HD and 4K.

240 Hz frame rate, HDR10+ and Dolby speakers

The Xiaomi Fengmi V10 also comes with a refresh rate of 240 Hz, which should make it suitable for ambitious gaming. According to the manufacturer, the latency is 12 milliseconds. MEMC also ensures smooth pictures.

The picture is also displayed in HDR10+ and should offer particularly strong contrasts accordingly. The color reproduction is also good thanks to a 10-bit depth and a DCI-P3 color space coverage of 118%.

Another exciting feature is that the V10 upscales Full HD pictures to 4K resolution without delay thanks to the AI functions of the installed MT9669 processor. The chip has 4 GB of working memory and 64 GB of system memory at its disposal.

The AI also reliably detects obstacles in the image area (at least according to the manufacturer) and compensates for them. An automatic screen detection is also offered, thanks to which the 4K projector recognizes the surface or screen when it is turned on and automatically adjusts the image size.

Audio playback in the Xiaomi Fengmi V10 is handled by the built-in 2.1 sound system with Dolby Audio support. It is composed of two 7.5-watt speakers and a subwoofer with a power of 15 watts.

Price and Availability

The Xiaomi Fengmi V10 4K beamer is available now in China. Via the onlineshop Banggood, the import is also possible to Germany. In the flash deal, the price is currently 1,236.77 Euros including VAT. When shipping to Germany, another 35.01 euros in shipping costs are added. The regular RRP is over 1,900 Euros.
