Caseking has now introduced the 8Pack Asteroid MK2 for all those whose wallets are bulging and who are looking for a high-end gaming PC with which they are also prepared for the next few years. Highlights of the equipment include an Intel Core i9-13900KS and an NVIDIA RTX 4090 – both overclocked to the max, of course.
8Pack Asteroid MK2 in detail
Hardware overclocker Ian “8Pack” Parry from the UK is a well-known name in the scene and is now once again working with Caseking to provide an absolute high-end gaming PC.
The result is the 8Pack Asteroid MK2, which could have come straight out of a science fiction movie with its compact and silver-colored case. However, the part is not only supposed to look good, but also have a lot of power under the hood.
Among other things, this is ensured by the brand-new, just introduced on January 13 Intel Core i9-13900KS CPU – according to Intel, the “fastest desktop processor in the world”, which combines 8 performance with 16 efficiency cores, 32 threads and 36 MB Intel Smart Cache.
The P-cores have also been overclocked to 5.5 GHz by 8Pack, which according to Intel normally runs at 3.20 GHz. In addition, there is a water-cooled NVIDIA RTX 4090 from an unnamed manufacturer, whose RRP alone is already over 2,000 Euros.
“These absolute high-end components already bring a lot of steam from the factory, but are of course still neatly overclocked to the stable maximum by 8pack,” reveals the provider.
Strong equipment, effectively cooled
Of course, the other equipment of the 8Pack Asteroid MK2 also turns out to be similarly high-quality. 32 GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5 RAM with 5600 MHz, as well as a 4 TB Samsung 870 QVO SATA SSD and 1 TB WD Black SN850NVMe SSD are installed and powered by a 1,000-watt power supply from ASUS.
A custom water cooling system with Distro plate in 8pack design, a D5 pump and a 360mm radiator is supposed to keep the heated components in check. The coolant, lighting, and handmade cables are color coordinated.
In addition, the colors can be customized, because the Gaming PC 8Pack Asteroid MK2 is specially handmade in England after the order and then makes its way to the buyer within 6-8 weeks.
