Aiways U6: Electric car starts from 47,500 euros in Germany

The Aiways U6 electric SUV coupe is being launched in Germany. It is available for pre-order now and qualifies for the environmental bonus that will apply from January 01, 2023.

The Aiways U6 electric SUV coupe is coming to Germany. For the local market, the company has entered into a cooperation with ATU to offer local service for the electric car. 50 of these service stations will initially be offered in Germany.

The net price for the electric car is 39,900 euros, and orders can be placed immediately both online and at the stationary sales partner Euronics. Gross, after deduction of the BAFA share, 41,000.60 euros will be due. This is because the U6 qualifies for the highest premium of the environmental bonus of 6,500 euros for the new funding guidelines that come into force on January 01, 2023.

Gross, without deductions and subsidies, the Aiways U6 in the Prime trim offered in Germany is 47,588 euros. It includes, for example, the larger 63-kWh battery. Delivery is likely from early 2023.

Modern technology, strong efficiency

The Aiways U6 aims to stand out for its modern technology and efficient powertrain. It offers an output of 218 hp with 315 Nm of torque and comes with an electric range of up to 400 kilometers. The 63 kWh battery can be charged in 35 minutes on the go at a DC charging station or with up to 11 kilowatts at a 3-phase AC wallbox.

From the shark nose front to the three-piece side line, the dome-shaped panoramic roof and all the way to the spoiler on the C-pillar, the Aiways U6 is trimmed for sportiness and efficiency. At the same time, it is more on SUV level in terms of height.

Inside, the U6 focuses on a high level of comfort, sporty seats and other exceptional features such as a large panoramic roof, a 14.6-inch touchscreen with wireless charging function for cell phones and intelligent ambient lighting.
