ASUS ProArt Station PD5 and more: Three new desktop PCs presented

Reinforcement in the desktop lineup from ASUS. With the ASUS ProArt Station PD5, ExpertCenter D9 SFF and ExpertCenter D7 SFF, the manufacturer has introduced three new, compact and powerful PCs that are available now. They are all easy to maintain, upgradeable and targeted at home and business users.

ASUS ProArt Station PD5: For creative minds

For all creative minds, the ASUS ProArt Station PD5 is the ideal choice. The desktop PC is equipped with up to an Intel Core i9-11900 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or NVIDIA RTX A2000 graphics unit, bringing with it plenty of power.

The case also has room for up to 128 GB of DDR4 RAM in four slots. Equipped with two integrated M.2 slots, one of which supports the latest PCIe 4.0 standard, users get maximum storage flexibility and fast data speeds.

With an effective multi-zone cooling system that increases airflow and provides ample space for components, stale air is efficiently directed to the outside, lowering CPU temperatures by up to 5°C and GPU temperatures by up to 4°C.

Exciting features

On top of that, the PD5 adds some exciting extra features, such as the ASUS Lumiwiz LED indicator, a tool-less hard drive tray, and physical protection for the power button. The Lumiwiz indicator consists of two light bars embedded in the front case that display the status of the CPU, GPU, and other components to indicate performance or current progress on various tasks.

In addition, the ProArt Station PD5 features a removable side panel that provides quick access to M.2 storage and the 2.5-inch drive for hassle-free upgrades. To prevent accidental shutdown during rendering, the power button can be physically locked.

Add to that an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) certification for broad compatibility with professional applications and the intuitive ProArt Creator Hub app for convenient settings and personalization.

ASUS ExpertCenter D9 and D7: Versatile business use

Both ASUS ExpertCenter D9 SFF (D900SC) and ExpertCenter D7 SFF (D700SD) models are high-end desktop PCs with professional security and management features.

They are equipped with up to Intel Core i7-11700 processor and professional up to NVIDIA T600 graphics (D900SC) or up to Intel Core i5-12400 processor with NVIDIA GT1030 graphics. In addition, there is a maximum of 128 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 3 TB HDD in combination with 2 TB SSD storage. The optimized thermal design with multi-channel cooling system also ensures consistent performance and minimal noise development.

Both models are kept particularly compact and are also robustly manufactured. They comply with the US military standard MIL-STD-810H. In addition, the cases are expandable to fit the business workflow, provide long-term security, and ensure easy-to-perform professional upgrades.

ISV certification, AI noise-canceling audio technology, tool-less component access, multiple expansion capabilities and extensive I/O ports are also offered.

For the best possible data protection, ExpertCenter desktops include strong security features such as a Trusted Platform Module, a Kensington Security and Padlock slot, and USB port read/write control. Thanks to Intel Core vPro platform, the ExpertCenter D9 also offers advanced manageability for IT, ensuring fewer outages, securing corporate resources and simplifying fleet management.

Pricing and Availability

All three new ASUS desktop PCs are available in stores now. MSRP for the ASUS ExpertCenter D7 SFF (D700SD) and ASUS ExpertCenter D9 SFF (D900SC) is $799. The ASUS ProArt Station PD5 (PD500TC) has an MSRP of 1,799 euros.
