The hardware experts from Asus have launched the ZenBook 13 OLED, the latest model in their successful notebook series. The new model is not only advertised with decent performance, but also with a brilliant OLED display and slim dimensions.
Much performance – little weight
Asus really does not make any compromises with its ZenBook 13 OLED. This already starts with the almost bezel-less display. Here, the manufacturer relies on a high-quality OLED panel that comes in a sharp resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (Full HD). The OLED should not only provide great contrasts, but also rich colors on the 13-inch screen. The built-in AMD processor is supposed to provide a lot of power. In its basic configuration, the ZenBook 13 OLED has an AMD Ryzen processor from the 5000 series. You can benefit from a Ryzen 7-5800U in the TOP features. In order to enjoy these hardware advantages on the go, the notebook weighs just 1.1 kg and offers a maximum battery life of 16 hours. Thus, it is the perfect companion for the office or the lecture hall.
Focus on the display
The name already makes it clear that Asus is particularly proud of the display in this ZenBook. And a look at the specs shows that the manufacturer has every right to be so. It not only offers deep blacks, which is typical for OLEDs, but can also convince in terms of color accuracy. Besides a DCI color space of 100 percent, it also offers a PANTONE-validated color accuracy. So that you can also spend long working days in front of the mobile computer’s screen, it is supposed to be easy on the eyes on top of that. Asus has obtained a corresponding certification from TÜV Rheinland in this regard. The other features also sound pleasing. Asus has installed a PCIe 3.0 SSD with up to 1 TB of storage space and a maximum of 16 GB of RAM. Furthermore, the now ASUS-typical NumberPad 2.0 is on board, which merges the trackpad and NumPad. The positive overall picture is rounded off by the installed speakers from Harman Kardon.
