Geekom Mini IT13 launches as first mini PC with 13th generation Core i9

We have known that the manufacturer Geekom can not only produce high-quality, but also high-performance mini PCs since our reviews of the Geekom AS6 with AMD Ryzen 9 6900H and the Geekom Mini IT12. The manufacturer now offers a new edition in the form of the Geekom Mini IT13. It even uses an Intel Core i9-13900H processor for the first time.

Geekom Mini IT13: The technical details

The equipment highlight of the Geekom Mini IT13 is undoubtedly the CPU, because for the first time, the powerful Intel Core i9-13900H processor, which we normally know from high-end gaming notebooks, is used in a mini PC.

The CPU has 14 cores and 20 threads, as well as a boost clock of up to 5.4 GHz, and should provide outstanding performance in the mini-PC. Thus, the mini-PC should be able to handle even demanding workflows including multitasking, gaming or video editing.

In order not to drive up the price at the same time, the manufacturer also offers the Mini IT13 with the Core i5-13500H or i7-13700H on request. All models use the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics unit with 96 pipelines, which should be able to handle at least some games in low or medium details.

The CPU is complemented by up to 2 TB of fast PCIe Gen 4 x4 SSD memory, as well as up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM in dual-channel mode. Both components are expandable, and there is also room for a maximum of a 1 TB SATA SSD, as well as a 2 TB SATA HDD in the case.

Modern connections in the Geekom Mini IT13

The Geekom mini PCs have always impressed with their connectivity as well. This is no different in the case of the new Geekom Mini IT13. 8K displays are supported, and a total of up to four monitors can be connected via two HDMI 2.0 and two USB4 ports each.

A total of six USB ports and a 2.5 Gbit LAN port are available. However, the announcement does not yet reveal any concrete details. However, it can be assumed that the manufacturer will combine USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and USB4 – just like in the Mini IT12.

Intel Wi-Fi 6E and modern Bluetooth 5.2 are also on board, while efficient and particularly quiet cooling is promised.

The full unveiling of the Geekom Mini IT13 is scheduled for August 23 at 7:00 p.m. German time on the manufacturer’s YouTube channel. In the course of the presentation, there will also be four PM16 portable monitors, as well as two brand new Mini IT13 to win.
