IFA 2022: Yeedi presents KK series

IFA 2022 is not just about consumer electronics. Smart household helpers are also part of the party this year. Of course, vacuum robots are not to be missed. Yeedi is undoubtedly one of the best-known companies in this segment. Now the manufacturer from the Far East has presented the three upcoming models of its KK series.

Suction and wipe function as new standard

Smart home will not be neglected at IFA 2022, either, which TP-Link, for example, has made clear with its new solutions. With the new KK series, Yeedi is also at the start and proves that vacuum robots without a wiping function will soon be a thing of the past. After all, the manufacturer is launching three new models that can both vacuum and wipe. But not only the functionality is supposed to be right here. The first pictures also look really promising. On the one hand, there is the white ceramic body, which should be a real eye-catcher with fine accents in rose gold. On the other hand, the manufacturer promises decorative lighting.

Yeedi’s new series also sounds promising in terms of performance. For one, the suction power of 5100 Pa is impressive – a real top value. By comparison, the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro (test) offers just 3000 Pa. On the other hand, the smart household helpers also seem to impress with their mopping performance. A dual-power spin mopping system is said to be able to clean the floor powerfully. Those who opt for the Yeedi KK Plus even get a practical suction station, which is supposed to be able to work through up to 75 days until it needs cleaning thanks to a large dust bag. The Yeedi KK Station, on the other hand, automatically washes the mops on the underside to ensure perfect mopping performance.

Smart app support

Of course, the app support should not be neglected in a modern vacuum robot. With the KK series, you can look here in the map of your apartment to make the cleaning more targeted. Of course, this requires good navigation. This is supposed to be provided by 3D-ToF navigation technology in Yeedi’s KK series. In order to avoid damage, a special technology is used for obstacle avoidance. Thanks to this, the models of the KK series are also supposed to be able to detect flat objects on the ground and drive around them. A height of just 84 mm, in turn, should also pave the way under flat furniture.

Availability

Yeedi has attractive robot vacuum cleaners in the pipeline with its KK series. These are expected to go on sale before the end of the fourth quarter of 2022.
