Philips Evnia 34M2C8600: 34 inch curved display presented

Philips adds a new model to its Evnia lineup. The Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 comes with a refresh rate of 175 Hz and a response time of 0.1 milliseconds and also offers some other exciting features. However, the price is not without.

After the 27-inch QHD monitor Evnia 27M2C5500W in January, the manufacturer has now unveiled another display. The Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 relies on a screen diagonal of 34 inches in ultra-wide format. A QD OLED panel is used, which is supposed to offer first-class colors and contrast values.

An UltraWide QHD resolution (3440 x 1440) for crystal-clear displays and a response time of 0.1 ms (GtG) for smooth gameplay are offered, as well as a Display HDR True Black 400 certification. The refresh rate is 175 hertz.

In addition, the new curved monitor features a USB-C port, a KVM switch, and an ergonomic stand that allows the display to be flexibly adjusted in height.

“The new Evnia gaming monitor is designed for everyone. Among the features that make this model stand out is Ambiglow technology, for example. It shows what Evnia is all about: Innovation, friendliness, openness and a touch of playfulness,” says Xeni Bairaktari, Global Marketing Lead of Philips Monitors and IT Accessories.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide much more details in the announcement.
