Poco F4 GT: High-end smartphone and price cracker available now

Poco has dropped its next price-performance bomb. With the Poco F4 GT, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has a device in the starting blocks that not only wants to stand out from the crowd with its design. On top of that, it is supposed to use Qualcomm’s currently most powerful processor. The other specs also promise a lot of technology at a fair price. We’ll take a look at what the upcoming Android device might have up its sleeve.

A lot of technology for little money

The promising Poco F4 GT is finally coming to Germany. It scores especially with its extremely low price of just 599.90 Euros (RRP). This is really surprising considering the high-end features under the hood. Other flagships can hardly keep up, at least in terms of price. If you really want to save money and are already enthusiastic about the device, you can even get it for a price starting at 499.90 Euros.

What you get for this price is almost a miracle. Let’s start with the display. The Chinese manufacturer gives its Poco F4 GT a chic FHD AMOLED that measures 6.67 inches. On top of that, it is supposed to offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which should ensure buttery-smooth motion pictures. However, the processor that Poco installs here is almost more exciting. The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 from Qualcomm is currently considered the top of the line in terms of smartphone processors. The Snapdragon is supported by either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM.

The powerful processor, the large display and the 120 Hz make gamers’ hearts beat faster. For this reason, the smartphone is also specifically advertised as a gaming gadget. This is made clear by the special shoulder buttons, among other things. Curiously, these can be extended quite comfortably. The big advantage is that they are only there when you really need them for gaming. Poco relies on a magnetic mechanism here, which is activated with the help of a slider.

Quick charging function with 120 watts of power

Poco again relies more on the average in terms of the camera. The main camera of the triple camera on the back has 64 megapixels. This is supplemented by obligatory lenses in the form of a super-wide-angle camera (8 megapixels) and a macro camera (2 megapixels). In terms of battery technology, the Poco F4 GT once again delivers great specs.

The manufacturer promises that the 4,700 mAh battery can be fully charged within 17 minutes with the help of a fast charging function. A power of 120 watts makes it possible. Incidentally, you should not have to take a break when the battery runs out of steam. After all, it shouldn’t even take half an hour to completely charge the battery while gaming.

Prices and designs

If you are interested in the Poco F4 GT, you can choose between two different versions. On the one hand, there is the basic version, which has an MSRP of 599.90 Euros. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

Those who want more RAM and storage will reach for the better version, which is set to launch at an MSRP of 699.90 euros. In addition to 12 GB of RAM, it also offers 256 GB of flash storage.
