Tenways CGO800S: New e-bike with 100 km range

The new Tenways CGO800S e-bike is aimed specifically at all those who commute through the city to work every day. Here, the manufacturer focuses on a particularly high level of comfort and a thoroughly impressive range of 100 kilometers.

Tenways CGO800S: details and info

The Tenways CGO800S is the latest member of the city comfort series of the manufacturer from the Netherlands and can be pre-ordered now. It is designed specifically for urban commuting and is intended to convince with a high level of comfort. Thus, the bike relies on a low entry, which allows ladies and gentlemen alike an easy entry and exit.

The Selle Royale saddle is ergonomically shaped and allows comfortable sitting. The suspension front fork compensates for bumps in the road surface and absorbs shocks while riding. What’s more, the rear lighting even features integrated turn signals to hint at turning turns. Hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro also ensure maximum safety.

The frame of the CGO800S is made of 6061 aluminum and is both robust and lightweight. The net weight of the e-bike is 19 kg, including pedals, mudguards, side stand and luggage rack it is 23 kg. The bike is offered in three matte colors: Midnight black, sky blue and pebble gray.

The Tenways CGO800S engine and features

In the Tenways CGO800S, the manufacturer installs a 250W hub motor (Mivice M070), which is supposed to work particularly quietly and smoothly. It is equipped with a magnetic torque sensor (Mivice S200B) and a Gates carbon belt drive, and the drive is said to achieve a maintenance-free mileage of 30,000 km.

Cable routing is largely done inside the frame, where the removable battery is also placed. It is easy to remove and has a range of up to 100 kilometers.

In addition, the e-bike rests on 28-inch aluminum rims and uses CST puncture-proof tires with a width of 48 mm. The handlebars also feature an intelligent LC display that is compatible with the Tenways app and enables navigation, for example. The power of the CGO800S is of course limited to 25 km/h in compliance with EU regulations, while 32 km/h is possible in the U.S. variant.

According to the manufacturer, the e-bike is aimed at riders between 1.55 m and 1.90 m tall. Mudguards, kickstand, luggage rack, reflectors and pedals, as well as all accessories such as charger, air pump and much more are directly included in the delivery.

Tenways CGO800S price and availability

The Tenways CGO800S e-bike is now available for pre-order directly from the manufacturer in the Netherlands. With a 100 euro early bird discount, you’ll end up with an MSRP of 1,799 euros by the time it’s available on June 22. Shipping costs to Germany are not included.
