Teufel AIRY SPORTS TWS: New TWS in-ear headphones presented

With the AIRY SPORTS TWS, the Berlin audio experts from Teufel have presented new in-ear headphones that are primarily aimed at active people. They are supposed to convince with an outstanding sound and come with a battery life of up to 31 hours.

The new True Wireless headphones from Teufel are aimed primarily at sports enthusiasts. The soft, bendable silicone earbuds keep the earphones in place at all times while being comfortable to wear.

Teufel is particularly proud of the battery life of the AIRY SPORTS TWS. Even at high volume, the in-ears are said to last for around seven hours. In combination with the charging case, another 31 hours are added. In 20 minutes in the charging case, the headphones get enough juice again for at least 1.5 hours of playback, a full charge takes 2 hours.

The in-ears are IPX3 protected against rain and sweat and are controlled via touch-sensitive sensors. This allows for convenient control of all playback, as well as volume or phone functions. Google Assistant or Apple’s Siri can also be launched via a touch gesture.

Wirelessly, the Teufel communicate via Bluetooth 5.0 with apt-X and AAC for music streaming in CD-like quality. Microphones in both earpieces with Qualcomm cVc technology enable wireless calling, Skyping and Facetime in particularly high sound quality.

Powerful sound in the Teufel AIRY SPORTS TWS

For the sound in the Teufel AIRY SPORTS TWS, the manufacturer relies on dynamic drivers with a size of 8 mm, which are supposed to provide a clear, powerful sound with convincing bass reproduction.

An astonishingly high frequency band of 12 – 20,000 Hz is covered, but Teufel does not provide any information about the impedance. However, the Teufel AIRY SPORTS TWS do not offer an ANC function. Teufel supplies silicone ear adapters in three sizes for an optimal fit and thus also an optimal sound. The stylish charging case is recharged via USB-C, three LEDs show the current charging status.

The Teufel AIRY SPORTS TWS are available for pre-order now in the Teufel online shop and in Teufel stores.  The manufacturer’s RRP is 149.99 euros. Delivery will take place within 14 days.
