Huawei uses IFA 2022 to announce its in-house news. Besides a powerful ultrabook in the form of the MateBook X Pro, the first smartwatch that can measure the wearer’s blood pressure, the Huawei Watch D, can also be admired at the trade show. With the Huawei MatePad Pro, the Chinese electronics company is also providing supplies in the tablet segment.
Huawei MatePad Pro comes in two sizes
Strictly speaking, the upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro is two new additions. After all, buyers have the choice between two different sizes. The small version comes with a screen size of 11 inches. Alternatively, a 13-inch version is available. Regardless of the display size, both versions score with wonderfully thin display edges.
Huawei states that the tablets should have a screen-to-body ration of a whopping 92 percent. On top of that, a refresh rate of 120 Hz is supposed to provide buttery-smooth performance without distortions in fast-moving pictures. A total of six speakers should also make the Huawei MatePad Pro the perfect companion for all fans of Netflix and co.
Classic Huawei design on the back
The camera design on the back will certainly look familiar to connoisseurs of smartphones from the Chinese electronics company. After all, the Huawei MatePad Pro clearly relies on the smartphone modules. The case is of high quality.
According to the manufacturer, this is made of a magnesium alloy. This not only looks chic, but is also supposed to provide resistance. However, Huawei makes it more than clear that a stable design does not have to weigh a lot. The small version of the Huawei MatePad Pro is supposed to be the lightest tablet in the 11-inch segment with just under 450 grams.
The inner values are also right, which becomes clear with a look at the technical data. The core is a Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm. The storage capacity of 128 GB is also generous. The 8,300 mAh battery is supposed to ensure a long runtime.
Prices and availability
We won’t have to wait too much longer for the promising Huawei MatePad Pro. At least if you are interested in the 11-inch version. This one is supposed to go on sale on September 30, 2022 at an MSRP of 649.00 Euros and can be pre-ordered now on Huawei’s official website . However, it is still unknown when the 13-inch version will be available.
