IFA 2022: Teufel announces Teufel Real Blue TWS 2

Parallel to IFA 2022, the hi-fi experts at Teufel are surprising us with several audio highlights. In addition to two gaming headsets in the form of the Teufel Cage One and Teufel Zola, the Teufel Real Blue TWS 2 is also the successor to the popular True Wireless In-Ears .

Many similarities with the predecessor

If you take a look at the technical specifications of the in-ears, you will notice many parallels to the very popular predecessor. We were able to put it through its paces in our test report. As a result, the first generation received a Gold Award. The sound quality and powerful ANC were the main reasons for this. However, the chic true-wireless in-ear also had its weak points. In particular, the battery life could have been longer according to our taste.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed when it comes to the battery. Thus, the Teufel Real Blue TWS 2 are supposed to be able to last a maximum of 25 hours with ANC turned off. This value is the same as that of the predecessor. Users who turn on the active noise cancellation have to live with 18 hours. The Earbuds themselves last eight hours without intermediate charging in the charging case when ANC is turned off. Six hours should be possible with ANC turned on. It’s a shame that Teufel hasn’t addressed this Achilles’ heel.

Teufel Real Blue TWS 2 offer ANC and strong sound

The heart in the form of the driver also seems to be identical to its predecessor. This is namely also to measure 12 millimeters and is characterized by a wide frequency response, precise treble, warm mids and a strong bass. Teufel speaks of up to 10 Hz. Furthermore, the Teufel Real Blue TWS 2 promise modern Bluetooth standard. Bluetooth 5.2 is supposed to be used on board. Thanks to the AAC codec, the music transfer should not only be loss-free, but also without any delays. Teufel promises lip sync here. Furthermore, the in-ears are supposed to be protected against splash water according to IPX3 and offer touch control. Integrated microphones in turn ensure that you can also make phone calls with the Bluetooth in-ears.

Price and availability

The Teufel Real Blue TWS 2 are set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2022. The Berlin-based company wants to charge an MSRP of around 150 euros. In view of the fact that hardly anything has changed compared to the predecessor, you can probably confidently reach for the first generation as well. You can currently buy it in the sale for a very fair 89.99 Euros.
