POCO Watch: First smartwatch of the company presented

In addition to the new flagship F4 GT, the company has also unveiled its first smartwatch, the POCO Watch. It relies on a modern appearance, which is remotely reminiscent of the Apple Watch with its rectangular design. POCO installs a 1.6-inch AMOLED touchscreen and offers over 100 watch faces.

For the display, the smartwatch relies on a 1.6-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and 301 PPI. It features more than 100 customizable watch faces and comes with two TPU wristbands: The pre-installed wristband is customizable in a length of 140 mm – 200 mm, while the included second band offers a length of 125 mm – 205 mm.

To better track fitness, such as during cross-country runs or when climbing a peak, the multi-system GPS provides the highest level of precision when using one of the more than 100 training modes that come pre-installed on the POCO Watch. The system can also automatically detect a wide range of motion sequences. From jogging on a treadmill to taking a walk in the fresh air. In addition, the gadget offers sleep tracking while measuring blood oxygen levels.

Battery life of up to 14 days

According to the manufacturer, the POCO Watch’s enduring battery should last for up to 14 days. The built-in battery is 225 mAh and is supplied with energy with the help of a magnetic charging point.

The smartwatch communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with Android from version 6.0 and iOS from version 10.0. The watch itself measures 39.1 mm x 34.4 mm x 9.98 mm and weighs 31 grams including the wristband. It offers 5ATM water and dust protection.

When and at what price the POCO Watch will be available in Germany, the manufacturer has currently left open. At AliExpress, the smartwatch is listed as a world premiere with a hefty discount from 68.16 euros. Delivery is scheduled for May 24.
