Twinkly introduces LED lighting products for gamers

Manufacturer Twinkly enters the gaming world with its new LED lighting products. After the Twinkly Squares, which we already introduced to you in August, many more products are now coming.

Twinkly lights up gaming rooms

Manufacturer Twinkly stands out for its app-controllable LED decorative lights, which are usually intended for contemplative lighting at Christmastime. But now they have also discovered the gaming sector for themselves and are launching different lighting products.

They are designed to make the environments of gamers and streamers even more realistic, colorful and individual. Among the benefits of Twinkly lights is the intuitive Twinkly app, which makes light decoration unique with the help of effects and animations through simple touch.

The devices can be virtually connected to other Twinkly products to create complex and synchronized lighting installations. All Twinkly products can be grouped together and each LED can be individually controlled via smartphone.

Various gaming products

Twinkly’s gaming product portfolio includes various lighting products. Among them, for example, is the Twinkly Flex, a flexible, neon-like LED tube that can be controlled via app and voice assistant. With a length of 2 meters, Twinkly Flex can be shaped as desired.

The Twinkly Line, on the other hand, is a self-adhesive, magnetic, thin and smart LED light strip that is perfect for adding color and ambiance to any room. Like all Twinkly products, Line can be customized and controlled in a networked fashion with the rest of the products; each LED can be controlled individually to create and repeat unique color effects and animations.

We’ve already introduced you to the Twinkly Squares. These are small LED panels that light up and make the home even more connected. They consist of 64-pixel RGB LEDs and are available in packs of 9 or 16 panels each. Real pixel artworks can sometimes be created here, along with matching lighting.

The Twinkly Dots, which rely on almost invisible cabling, are particularly light and flexible. Thanks to USB connection, you can also connect the Dots directly to the console to provide a coherent ambient lighting.

Twinkly Music, on the other hand, dances to the beat of the music. “Revolutionary technology that gives shape and color to any sound. Twinkly Music’s technology can decode any sound source in real time – whether it’s a classical aria, a timed piece or a video game soundtrack – to identify relevant musical elements and create live effects with Twinkly lights. A true live audiovisual experience,” the manufacturer said.

All Twinkly lighting products are compatible with various voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, as well as Apple HomeKit, Homey, Razer Chroma RGB and OMEN Light Studio.

Twinkly Cup: Esports tournament with 10,000 euros in prizes

Twinkly, in collaboration with Video Games Party, is hosting the Twinkly Cup at launch, a European Fortnite tournament with over 10,000 euros worth of Twinkly products up for grabs. Registrations have already been open for free on the Cup’s homepage since October 03.

Razer is the technical partner for the initiative and will add wireless mobile and cross-platform Barracuda X gaming headsets to the Twinkly prizes.

Prices and availability

You can choose to order the various Twinkly products directly from the manufacturer or from Amazon. The Twinkly Flex, for example, is priced at 101,01 Euro, the starter set of Twinkly Squares with one panel including 64 RGB pixels is priced at 54,14 Euro.
