Samsung Gaming Hub now with Antstream Arcade and Blacknut

The Samsung Gaming Hub is becoming increasingly popular. Now, the tech company headquartered in South Korea has added Antstream Arcade and Blacknut. This brings the total number of games on offer to just under 3,000.

Samsung Gaming Hub is growing and thriving

Need console or PC to play games? Samsung Gaming Hub has been proving for quite some time that this does not necessarily have to be the case. After all, the handy app also allows gaming on a modern Samsung Smart TV. The Samsung Gaming Hub presented at CES 2022 gives you access to the most popular streaming portals. Included are Xbox’s streaming service, NVIDIA GeForce Now, Amazon Luna and Utomik. Now the selection of gaming titles is even more extensive. Samsung has now also added games from Antstream Arcade and Blacknut. This means that you can now play almost 3,000 games on the portal. Especially friends of classic arcade games will be happy about this. After all, Antstream Arcade offers access to more than 1,400 classic games and 500 mini-challenges.

Well-known titles such as Pac-Man and Double Dragon are also included. To use Antstream Arcade for 12 months, you have to pay a fee of 12 euros. Blacknut takes a very similar approach. Here you can play over 500 premium games. Unlike the arcade game streaming service, the games available here are mainly modern co-op games and AAA titles. Well-known examples are the atmospheric shooter Metro Exodus and the popular co-op title Overcooked 1 and 2. Blacknut is especially interesting for families thanks to its special section for children. For example, the streaming service enables optional parental controls. For a shared gaming evening with family or friends, Samsung creates the possibility to synchronize up to four Bluetooth controllers.

Possible for new models only

Blacknut and Antstream Arcade can now be found in your gaming hub from Samsung. Unfortunately, those who now call a Samsung TV their own cannot generally assume that they will be able to enjoy the Samsung Gaming Hub. After all, you can only use the service on selected smart TVs from the manufacturer. The selected models are from the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. One example is the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 presented in January 2023.
