We already presented the stylish Thok MIG-HT e-bike from the Italian manufacturer Thok E-Bikes to you in detail in April 2022. Now they announce that the exciting all-round e-bike is officially available. To it one places with the new Thok MIG-HT-R now however a further model to the side, which puts the focus more strongly on the Mountainbiken. Thok MIG-HT goes on sale
We do not want to go into detail again about the high-quality technical equipment of the Thok MIG-HT. Only so much: as an all-rounder, the e-bike wants to combine the comfort of a city bike with the features of an e-mountain bike.
For this, a powerful Shimano Steps E7000 motor with 250 watts of power and a torque of 60 Nm is used. The 504 Wh waterproof battery is designed for 1,000 recharge cycles and is positioned on the down tube to improve the handling of the e-bike. It can be easily removed and recharged.
Also offered is an optional tourer kit that makes the e-bike fit for the road. It includes mudguards (front and rear), a rear rack, a lighting kit and Schwalbe Big-Ben tires (29 inch x 2.15).
Thok MIG-HT-R becomes even sportier
On the other hand, the Thok MIG-HT-R presents itself even more clearly sporty. It is visually very reminiscent of the other Thok e-bike, but comes in a silver color scheme (called “Shining Waterfall”). Further differences can be found in the details of the E-Hardtrail bike.
The HT-R, like all of THOK’s R models, is the version with the most powerful components and is therefore equipped with Sram NX 11-speed gears, Sram Guide T four-piston brakes, 29×2.6 Maxxis Dissector tires and a telescopic seatpost.
Motor and battery are the same as in the MIG-HT. Riding is on 29-inch wheels with RockShox Recon RL suspension fork with 120mm travel and 200/180mm disc brakes. The 6061 T4 T6 aluminum frame is made of CNC-molded and machined parts and hydroformed tubes of differentiated thicknesses.
The manufacturer also offers the road-ready tourer kit for the Thok MIG-HT-R. The Tourer Kit can transform the e-bike, which has excellent steering on single tracks, is robust and responsive, into an ideal means of transport for everyday commuting to work or university in urban road traffic. The Tourer Kit, which can be purchased for an additional 160 euros, includes front and rear mud flaps, luggage rack, driving lights and the additional road tires model Big Ben 29×2.15 from Schwalbe.

Price and Availability
The Thok MIG-HT-R is available in sizes S, M, L and XL directly from the manufacturer. The MSRP for all models is 3,950 euros, including VAT. The MIG-HT in size M is significantly cheaper with a RRP of 3,390 euros. A THOKer box with water bottle, water bottle holder, damper pump, multitool, spare shift eye and other gadgets of the brand are included in the price.
