Yamaha TW-E3C: In-Ears come with multipoint and long battery life

With the Yamaha TW-E3C, the manufacturer has introduced new in-ear headphones that are just as convincing in terms of sound as they are in terms of wearing comfort. In addition, one promises innovative technologies, aptX Adaptive and multipoint support.

The Yamaha TW-E3C in detail

Yamaha is going full throttle in the realm of true wireless in-ear headphones. After models like the TW-E5B, as well as TW-E7B and TW-ES5A last year, they are now launching another variant with the Yamaha TW-E3C.

These are the third generation of affordable earbuds that aim to score with dynamic, powerful sound that adapts to the environment and usage.

Dynamic drivers measuring six millimeters are said to provide a compelling sound, while silicone attachments in four different sizes ensure the appropriate wearing comfort.

The music is now transmitted with Bluetooth version 5.2 and reaches you in best quality thanks to the codecs AAC and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive. In addition, there is a special gaming mode with particularly low latency.

Long runtime, smart features

The Yamaha TW-E3C are said to realize a runtime of up to 9 hours even without a charging case, which is an excellent value. 15 more hours is added by the charging case.

Listening Care technology is also part of the package. Listening Care is based on YPAO Volume, which has been used to successfully tune home theater sound for years. At low volume levels, certain frequencies are amplified that are normally less perceived by the human ear. The sound image is supposed to be rounder and fuller without having to turn the music louder.

Optimized microphones with Qualcomm cVc technology are said to provide convincing speech intelligibility thanks to noise and echo cancellation. The TW-E3C in-ears can also connect to two Bluetooth-enabled devices simultaneously.

With “Ambient Sound”, the Earbuds get another feature of the higher-priced models TW-E5B and TW-E7B. This allows important ambient sounds to be perceived well even when the music is playing and remain in focus.

Customization is possible with the Headphone Control app for iOS and Android. In addition, the headphones can be used with the voice assistants Siri and Google Assistant, the operation on the Earbuds themselves is via touch input.

Price and Availability

The Yamaha TW-E3C in-ear headphones are available now in black, gray, blue, green, beige and red. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 99.00 euros.
